It seems as if the people who rave about it's coding abilities are doing a lot of copy+paste stack overflow level of coding. I'm not sure whether it's great that this can be automated, or if it's depressing that so much human effort is being wasted.
yes it does seem that way although i also have seen a lot of people using chatgpt to give them code in languages that they do not want to learn for whatever reason - but are smart enough to debug the code to get it to a level they want. lots of python/esoteric css libraries included in this.
lots of frustration expresses that chatgpt can't do C++ efficiently for the same reason.
very weird thought process but i assume learning another language is less important than the results.
I'll try again in a few years I guess, by then we will have AGI they say.
