I dislike the Linux Mint desktop image, but that's trivially easy to swap out.

I genuinely can't see the other problems with the image, and I feel that it's not a good example to illustrate the point.

But I'm sure parent poster is right, and that linux desktop environments use a wierd mish-mash of icons and fonts with weird sizing and line heights.
