Okay “any vr content” means games it seems.

The experience definitely differs. I’ve never even noticed a cell phone person in Canadian Costcos. There’s a booth off in the electronics section but no one bothers you. If you can get there on a Monday, the place seems fairly empty.

At what point is this just a performance enhancing “drug” — what makes something a drug?

Some say that protein or creatin is a drug.

Some say it's testosterone, but we already got natural testosterone in our body. Just like creatin.

Maybe a drug is at the point where you put in your body something that it doesn't produce naturally. Like nandrolone, clenbuterol.

Honestly I thought I had a clear view too but the more I think about it the more I realize that we are a bit hypocrite.

It always seems like any animated svg loses all of the animation after sanitizing

A lot of SVG animation uses JS for some reason. It would be interesting to see if sanitisers strip CSS and SMIL animation, I don't see any security reasons to do so.

There are 3 different methods of animating svgs so it probably depends.

It’s also confusing that most nutritional labels say “calories” (Cal) when they really mean kilocalories (kcal). And those are different from regular (‘small’) calories (a measure of energy needed to heat 1g water 1c).

1 food calorie as listed on a food label is enough to heat 1kg of water by 1c

This was the explanation for why the scotch and soda diet doesn't work:

(If the nutritional calories in the drink had been only the same number of thermodynamic calories, the drink would have been energetically negative for the body because of its low temperature.)

Yeah, I assume this dumbification is spearheaded by the Americans.

Seems like you can be matchmaker (and fertilizer) for those tennis club trees

I found it pretty easy to digest.

Okay I have dvd players that work fine even still. DVDs need care - scratches and fingerprints are bad (though the error correction on a good player will make it less noticeable). I think the lifespan of a dvd player may be in its design (where dust may get to the laser?) or the environment (humidity or temp may play a role?)

It's possible that DVD players are extremely low quality now, since there are very few people still buying them.

They are, after the second Walmart cheapass dvd player died, I bit the bullet and got an Xbox Series ProMax X 360 Copilot whatever.

It's a glorified blurry player, and it works fine as such.

As they say, you get what you pay for.

Adversarial personal development is definitely a thing too.

Maybe it’s lab grown in a future and not tied to animals in any way. Just for food.
