We enforce Zero Standing Privileges across cloud and SaaS — AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Okta, GitHub, and more. Access is requested just-in-time and disappears when the job is done. We are a small team and AI is core to how we work.
This role sits between customers, the CEO, and engineering. You'll build real multi-cloud demo environments (not toy setups), run technical sales conversations, own customer onboarding, and create technical content grounded in actual depth. When you find a product problem, you'll file it and often see it fixed the same week.
You should have:
Comfort scripting and hitting APIs to automate your own work
Basic cloud familiarity (AWS, GCP, or Azure) — you know what a role and a service account are
Experience in customer-facing technical conversations
A habit of publishing: blog, GitHub, videos, etc
Pre-Series A means your work directly shapes product and GTM. Cloud access management is one of the fastest-growing problems in security — this is a good place to build expertise at the center of it.

Trustle | Principal Engineer | Remote US | www.trustle.com
Trustle is on a mission to make managing the world’s cloud permissions easy and transparent. We keep teams using cloud services productively while compliant and risk-aligned.
From cloud computing providers like AWS, GCP and Azure to hosted apps like GitHub and PagerDuty, Trustle understands the management of user permissions for a rapidly growing portfolio of cloud hosted software solutions and identifies things that require attention to any teams that manage access in an organization.
Granting, revoking and configuring access should not be a maze of clicking thru admin consoles, Terraform, custom tools and scripts. What we’re building will empower our customers to spend time in their core competencies with access to systems as an afterthought.
We are a small, fully remote, well-funded company with dozens of cloud services already supported for our customers with an experienced team with alumni/alumna from Okta, Netflix, AWS, Cruise and GitHub. We also occasionally discuss whether the Cleveland Browns are cursed at length. Trustle is fully remote.
Trustle is working to secure organizations’ most valuable cloud access by leveraging automation, ML, and AI to manage all access at risk. Our mission is to help cloud native and traditional companies alike transform to difficult new realities posed by adopting these platforms, particularly with regard to securing all accounts and access.
We are looking for a Staff Engineer to help us scale and shape the future of the product.
Stack Keywords*: Typescript, Go,Python, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, GCP, Postgres
MORE ABOUT US
Trustle was founded in 2019 on the simple question of “why can’t I find out who has access to what and why?”
As practitioners ourselves, the seemingly never-ending stream of approval requests that the business generates daily was overwhelming; it was similarly impossible to manage cloud resources and code repositories with using the standard roles and
groups. In addition we found that not only was there employee access issue, but contractors, systems and customer access that was not being properly managed and tracked.
It became clear to us that there was still work to be done on cloud platforms and operations management. Having created workload identity and access solutions with SPIFFE, our founder and CEO, Emiliano realized that the same issues are present in today's SaaS systems.
That’s why, similar to SPIFFE, Trustle implements temporal access constraints and cleans up access when it’s not in use. We founded the company to answer all of those needs in a much deeper, more meaningful way. Trustle now offers deep integration across platforms, with many more integrations on the way.
