Before drawing any „higher order conclusion“ …

Did anyone assure that this code is using a recursive mutex???

Because, well, lol, a second lock on a non-recursive mutex would look like what is reported here.

KISS and gn8

But who am I anyway? Everyone is free to do what they want.

Everyone is free to overcompensate, remunerate, juxtapose, aggravate, frustrate, vandalize, …

This reads as like the Author is awaiting a falsification of its statement(s): but the thing is: it was neither accidently created, nor is it the fastest CSV parser, for sure.

But I am too lazy, to proof or falsify that.

We are in post-factual age anway, right?

This is bad advice. The worst. Just bump up limits? Really?

Instead, find out why this happens, first.

Well, in this case I had no security concerns. As I pointed out in the article, the repo is very big and it contains tons of tests. My guess is that many of those tests generate files which eventually causes the process to reach the soft limit. I’ll do a part 2 with a follow up and see if this makes sense!

Oh no! What you describe is generally known as a 100% german trait.

You cannot steal it from us and relabel as british! No, Sir!

BTW: your examples stink.

From first to last one:

> Sarah: Built a fusion reactor at 16. Now? Debugging fintech payment systems.

Nice, but that fusion reactor? Where is it? Did she really accomplish something?

Btw: remaining examples are just as stupid as the first one.

Ideas are worth nothing. Even if they shine

Germany has multiple successful and innovative engineering companies, where engineers work for good wages.

>Where is it? Did she really accomplish something?

Building a fusion reactor is not that hard, although that example is probably hyperbole. Note that a fusion reactor is something totally different than a fusion reactor which outputs net energy.

IMHO totally unnecessary. Nuclear energy is superfluous, at least in Germany.

https://www.app.electricitymaps.com

How is it superfluous when half of Germany according to that source is powered by coal or gas (mostly coal)?

They're the second largest electricity importer of Europe. They're pulling the same shit as Belgium, shutting down their nuclear power plants and importing from France. Guess what France uses to generate electricity ?
