What would human intelligence would have done that AI didn't?

My hot take is: if a build v/s buy decision comes up frequently in meetings with your customers, you're a dead man walking. Either figure out a different market altogether, or a different customer segment who don't think they can build it themselves.

Yes, that is a good assessment. Products close enough to this decision that you have to talk about it don't have enough of a moat. Generally, a product should either serve sufficiently complex needs that build is impractical, or serve customers at a small enough price point that buy is obviously cheaper.

I have built RAG apps before, and when I heard about Cloudflare announcing AutoRAG in beta, I was excited to try it out. It's pretty decent, and if any Cloudflare person is reading this, I also have some suggestions for improvement.

After hitting workflow friction and editing inertia with my Zola/Rust static site, I migrated back to a CMS. Wagtail won out due to Python/Django familiarity and needing backend features beyond static generation—a pragmatic shift. This post details the rationale, the Hetzner/Cloudflare/Tailscale stack, and why SSG limitations became too costly.

Temperature affects how people feel about the taste of their beverages and drinks. Good brands know this and use it to their advantage, while it becomes a painful liability for others.

I believe it's extremely crucial to understand response cycle of each product i.e. when does the product start showing it's advantages. A simplistic view would be that shorter the response cycle, the better. A more complete view would be that understanding the response cycle allows you to decide your go-to-market.

The market has a tendency to overvalue stocks which have shown high recent growth and UNDERVALUE companies that are OUT OF FAVOUR. This creates the necessary margin of safety in the investment.

Curious to know more.

I thought it was an interesting article, so I shared it here.

Did you read it to the end? If so well done. As a premise, an article by someone who admits they know little about what they are writing about, including the person in the subject, seems either brave or foolhardy. I concluded it was the latter after a few paragraphs and gave up.

I did read it till the end, although I skimmed the paragraphs which talked about religion.

I just looked into the author in detail and it turns out he is a professional writer, not someone in tech or business.

I never assume a 2% inflation rate. I live in India, so I add/subtract 2% from the government's declared inflation numbers. If the government says inflation is 4%, I will use 6% for assets and 2% for EMIs.

In developed countries, maybe I would add 1-1.5%
