I used to use this when freelancing and a big deadline was approaching, I found it very helpful. It felt like I could get at least twice as much done in a day.

However I stopped using it after getting into a minor motorbike accident. Another motorbike was driving on the shoulder (pretty typical in Thailand) and I didn't spot her while turning at an intersection, even after checking both directions. The tunnel vision side-effect is no joke!

The same thing happened to me. Google Drive began silently deleting any duplicate files it found in any of my directories, leaving just one original. A lot of my projects use the same web framework, hence my projects were all broken. Restoring them via their UI wasn't possible either. I stopped using Drive after that.

It seems bad form of PC Mag not to link to the source, given that the whole article is based off it.

There was some flash flooding in my city of Toowoomba (close to Brisbane QLD) earlier this week. I was supposed to meet a client that afternoon in the CBD, I'm sure glad I cancelled!

I collected some footage and images if anyone is interested: http://phillipsdesign.com.au/notebook/toowoomba-floods/

Good luck to the people in Brisbane and surrounds, stay safe.

Didn't realize there were other HNers in Toowoomba. Coffee sometime?
