Nice job, this looks really useful - would certainly help for the times when I'm stuck with no internet access and need to look something up.
One minor niggle - when I changed the file I wanted to use in settings, there was no confirmation or notification to let me know it was downloading the new file. I ended up stopping the download, erasing the data and starting again, to be sure. It might be worth adding in a confirmation to let users know it was changed OK, and is being re-downloaded.
I can access the Web Store fine with my apps account. The apps account administrator needs to enable it in the Apps control panel. IIRC it's in "Organisation and Users" --> "Services".
The only thing not in there (that I've found) is Google+/Profiles.
I often find the hardest part is actually starting whatever it is you're putting off. After that, it's a lot easier to keep going (provided you don't get distracted by interruptions).
My solution is to turn off all my IM clients, load up a different browser without all the tabs I normally open, mute everything except the radio, and force myself to start it. After that, I can usually work through and get it finished.
I think you're right. There's no signature from a judge at the bottom, which suggests this is something they're submitting to the court in the hopes of having it approved. IANAL, so I don't know how that would work.
Apps like Lucid Chart and Sketchpad are where I think HTML5 will be most useful. Flash is still (and likely will be) popular for games for a long time, but it doesn't work too well for the 'productive' apps, which is where I see HTML5 stepping in.
I think they seized some domains, but not necessarily the ones this article is talking about. If this is a hoax, it works particularly well, as ICE does't seem to have confirmed which domains it has seized.
My first (real) programming experience was with PHP when I was 14. Before that, I fiddled around with a bit of flash and ActionScript. I found it so much easier to learn by actually having a project and working out how to make it a reality as opposed to just reading about it in a book.
