Everybody is suddenly a currency expert. Remember the days when everybody was a real estate investor? Yup. I'm gonna enjoy the show from the sidelines.
IMO the visual on the page was annoying, and not very informative.
The bar chart somebody linked to showed the same data in a much nicer way. Easier to grasp at a glance, and easier to make comparisons.
To make the page's visual work it would have been better to show later numbers in terms of the previous companies. Show, for example, that Facebook is 1.3 Blackberries, Nokia is 4 Facebooks, etc.
Agreed. LI has become far too intrusive as of late, and I really hate that some folks in different industries, specifically tech, value this as the end-all, be-all. If I have to miss out on certain opportunities due to my lack visibility on LNKD, then so be it. Just not a fan of what they're doing over there-at all.
You are probably correct. My point is that I can make it slightly more complicated for you to sniff around in my data, and that was the whole point of this move.
If more people do this, it will get progressively harder for you to do your mass surveillance job as you do it now.
If you think the USA is alone in their desire to surveille you're going to have a rough time around the world. The USA had the means, but the will is there worldwide.
