Does somebody know the power values for idle and sleep for this release? When I tried Remix 43 on a m2 mb pro 1 month ago the idle power usage was above 5W (max 10h) and sleep roughly 3W (~20h).

Not OP but external display only works via HDMI directly atm (m2 mb pro).

> why the EU doesn't want the app to run on rooted devices

Where does the EU say so?

IMO the implementation is crucial. If everything is locally on the device and I can confirm digitally that I'm older than 18 BUT NOTHING ELSE is leaked, like the German eID supports (I think).

Why/how would this be a bad thing?

Because that's debating the mechanics of it rather than the need or the ethics. Nobody gives a shit about the mechanics because if there's a debate about the mechanics that means the discussions about the need and the ethics have already happened. Yet those discussions are in fact still going with few in favour of the ethics or need for these systems. The mechanics are the final step after everything else has been settled.

Implementing this is fascist.

Made a completely different experience. Every once in a while you have to run a command. Over the last 10-12 years there were I think 2 problems where this did not work out of the box.

With "Graph support" you mean "Microsoft Graph API"?

That's right. We've long had Microsoft account users across Exchange, Office365 and Outlook.com complain about having issues using Thunderbird. So we're trying to account for all protocols from MS.

I highly recommend this 12min video "Trees Are So Weird"

Linux on Apple Silicon is already stable and nice if you accept a few downsides: only M1 & M2 so far, max 8h on battery ('office usage'), max 30h with closed lid ('sleep'), external display via hdmi and no touch ID.

It’s _really_ not just a few downsides, although they’re catching up quickly. My Air would get USB-C video out soon, it seems. But I don’t think Asahi should be anyone’s main driver yet. (That reminds me that it’s time to donate again.)

City speeds are way below 50kmh (even below 30kmh in most cities!) and ICE cars are a lot louder when accelerating. So I'd love to see more EVs in our city too. Especially in winter days when the motors are not (yet) warm enough to clean the exhaust gas...

You mean during rush hour, right? Else please tell me where, because it's certainly not in most cities.
