I don't think that is the case. I think the people that wrote this are simply bad programmers. Some of these issues are so obvious that if you've been doing any amount of programming, you should be able to anticipate them, whether you're writing C, Rust, or Java.
There's a depressingly common tactic of using the Holocaust to defend current genocide and atrocities, one that has been very effective until recently. It's exactly the kind of strategy that always assuming good faith allows for, and what I'm warning against. Unfortunately, the backlash against allowing bad actors to use victims as a shield is emboldening bigots. Another knock-on danger of the culture of unlimited civility is that it will eventually end and the overcorrection will see a lot undeserving people hurt.
Probably. There are a lot of countries, especially third world ones, with very lax legal systems, not to mention the multitude of countries where law basically doesn't exist.
I think you mean their terms of service which are pretty restrictive and involve(d) a clause that lets them revoke your access to the editor at any time for any reason.
